Designing Assignments Beyond AI’s Reach: Strategies for Educators

From 6–7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, on Zoom, join Ashley Evans, professor of cloud computing at Valencia College, for a session exploring AI-resistant strategies that limit the usefulness of AI tools and promote authentic, original work — without turning instructors into AI detectives. .

Conjuring GPTs: Build Your Own AI Assistant

From 2:30–4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, in the LEDS Classroom (LIB 222), this hands-on session will unmask the differences between a prompt, a GPT, and a chatbot. Participants will also learn how to develop a custom GPT tailored to their professional tasks. .
