Sarah Day-O'Connell, professor of music, lectured on works by Haydn, Beethoven, and Ruth Gipps for the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Orchestra at the Bravo!Vail Music Festival in Colorado. Her essay "Children (and Geniuses): Beethoven, Bernstein, and Lucy's Unanswered Question" was published in . 

Sarah DiPasquale and Jason Ohlberg, associate professors of dance, were invited presenters at the National Dance Education Organization's virtual professional development conference in July. Their session, entitledAssessing Inclusive Learning in Dance History, will also be featured at NDEO's annual conference in Colorado this fall.

Timothy Munro, director of campus safety, was named president of the . NECUSA promotes public safety in higher education through professional development, networking, and information sharing among higher education safety professionals throughout the Northeast.

Robert ParkeHarrison, professor of art, and Shana ParkeHarrison will have their constructed photographs 鈥 described as an alliance of world-class photography and world-class science 鈥 on display from Sept. 8 to Oct. 15, as an open-air exhibition in the festival in Zurich, Switzerland.
