Election Day Time Off to Vote
Although employees are encouraged to vote outside of scheduled work hours when possible, registered voters who lack four consecutive hours to vote may take up to two paid hours off at the start or end of their shift. Supervisors must be informed if an employee will be missing work to vote at least two working days in advance of election day, Tuesday, November 3rd.
