COVID-19 & flu vaccine information

An updated COVID-19 and/or flu vaccine remains the best way to:  

• - Prevent severe symptoms and complications (possibly prevent illness completely) 
  - Reduce the spread of COVID-19 and flu viruses

麻豆女郎鈥痟ighly recommends鈥痶hat all community members receive their vaccinations, particularly given the nature of our congregate living community. See the New York State Department of Health recommendations for and or discuss with your healthcare provider if you have questions. 

 

Getting vaccinated: 

- On-campus: Each fall there are on-campus Flu and COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics.  Information will be available closer to the dates via e-mail, posters, and social media. 

- Locally: Flu and COVID-19 vaccines are available at pharmacies, including CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Price Chopper and Hannaford.  COVID-19 vaccines are generally available year-round; flu vaccines are available late summer through early spring.
